Hi
On the right hand side of my engine the clutch cable guide/holder is broken off, still holds the cable in but with a cable tie
Is there an easy fix or is do I have to source and replace the engine casing?
Cheers

Re: Clutch cable guide/holder broken
Hi Andy,
Inner clutch casing required
Mine was the same when I got it....the previous owner had done a bodged repair by bolting on a fabricated bit to replace the broken part.
Cheers,
Bernie

Hi Andy
It looks like a big job but it is quite simple, just messy.
An opportunity to have a good look at your clutch and change the mechanical seal on the water pump.
Don't forget to order your gaskets from Dan.

Can you change it with the engine in place ?

Re: Clutch cable guide/holder broken
Hi Andy
Yes, no problem.
Make sure you have the bike stood square on a paddock stand and drain the oil, you will need to wipe as much oil as you can otherwise it will continue to weep over the gasket surfaces as you are reassembling it (I used silver silicone gasket sealant in addition to the gasket). Don't forget to bleed your oil pump after you have finished and the oil lines.
Cheers
