Looks good Alan,
If you made a mould I suppose you could make more than one........
I reckon you might get a few of us interested.
Could be a new business!

I posted the pics because I thought it looked good , so well pleased with the response.

Thank you's. The seat unit was designed as a one off, i.e. make a mould from it, destroy it to get it out of the mould, make a new one in the mould and destroy the mould to get it out. This would allow me to make it in one piece, to make more than one would mean a two piece mould and the two halves would have to be joined then filled and painted. I made enquiries today about a silicon rubber mould which would allow me to reuse it and make it in one piece, very expensive! Bear in mind I've had to cut 30mm out of the width in the back of the seat frame, couldn't make a good shape with the frame standard, 'not difficult', plus my bike has been to bits since the old king died so I don't know what other ancillaries will be affected by this mod. In saying all this I'm not saying that I wouldn't make this for other members, I'll keep yous informed. Frog if that's your son on the avatar then you should love him to bits, what a cracking laddie.

love the shape, still echoes the kr1/s seat, sort of minimises the squareness of the std unit. probably suit the racers as the pillion seat and god knows what else are usually singed to the bin! will be intrested in one if you decide to produce a few, agree that a revised fairing to modernise the lines of the bike would compliment the seat perfectly, some thing nice and sleek like an rs (H$%^A) or tz. cheers matt
