Switchgear tab fix

Post by smoovly »

I worked out a way to fix the missing tab on the back of the switchgear housings. A small piece of plastic tubing from a radio control plane linkage and a small self-tapping screw does the job nicely and fits better and tighter than the factory method.

I've got some spare bits, enough for about 8 switches (you need to find the screws) but if you want some PM me and I will post what you need.

Good idea. Even just the screw by itself (without the plastic tube) may be enough.

No, London but visiting Sydney for work next month.

The screw is no good on its own, wobbles too much. With the plastic sleeve it's better than original.
If you want me to bring some over let me know.

Cheers
