crank bearrings and seals

Post by JanBros »

anybody knows where I can just buy the seals and bearrings for a crank ?

I just can't find them over here, and sending my crank to Stan or somebody else in the UK and then shipping it back is just way too expensive :( .

im sure one of the tuners would send you bits, though at a premium. SEP of kegworth are specialists in recon/rebuilding cranks so are likely to have the bits you require and would probably sell them and post em, got to be cheaper then shipping a crank overseas. will see if i still have the phone number for SEP. is it just seals and bearings you require? or are you after rods etc? im sure rods are NLA so people fit kdx rods (i think) as there identical.

Subject: seals and bearrings KR1 cranck

Hi,

I'm from Belgium, and over here nobody can find replacemant seals and bearrings for a KR1-cranck. Someone on the KR1-forum in the UK said I should contact you.

If shipping a cranck twice overseas wasn't that expensive, I wouldn't mind sending my cranck over, so I'm looking for someone who can just sell me the seals and bearrings.

Can you/would you sell them to me, and how much would it be for a full set for one cranck ?
Do you have complete rods with big ends asswell ? (I know where I can buy those, but getting everything from one adresse again saves me a bit on the shipping).

Cheers, Jan
I'll try sending it to Sam directly
