The KR1S tyres are a weird size:?
So where do you get road tyres from
110/70/17 and 140/60/18 ( can you put a 150 on?)

most tyre shops like universal will sell em....you can use a 150/18 rear n a 120/70 front(or120/65/17...same as zx6r j1/j2)
though the footprint will b smaller(the amount of rubber in contact with the road)...cos your pulling the tire round more...
i run standard sizes n use bridgestone bt92's

Always best to stick with the specified tyre sizes
Overtyring a rim is bad news and can upset handling and braking.
140/60/18 and 110/70/17
I am looking for tyres as well and it looks like maximum rating now available is H
Choice seems to be Bridgestone 090 or 092 or the new Dunlop GPRa-10
Has anybody tried the new Dunlops ?
Used to be able to get ZR rated Michelins in the correct sizes but looks like NLA.
If anyone knows of the cheapest place to get the new Dunlops Mail Ordered then please post on here.

unless you've got your own removal/fitting eqpt it often isn't worth
buying mail order
you've got to find someone local to do it for you who will be pretty pissed
off you didn't buy from them to start with

Found this link for the BT92's
http://mc.bridgestone.co.jp/en/products ... /bt92.html
It says for a 4.00 inch rim a tyre size of 140 or 150 is o.k.?
It also says total width is 152 mm for the 150

KR1 man didn't know what the hell you were on about on first read. "Three", I had written "third".....Thought there had been a slip in the time space continuum !......" I hate it when that happens ", then I realised.
