how do the engine mounts line up?
looks a nice snug fit without having to butcher all the frame spars like the 500 2 stroke conversions.
definately looks an easier option than janbross's sv conversion.
you've gotta go with one underseat pipe with next to no silencing, just to piss the neighbours off

one tip : think about the maintenance you have to do on the engine

wouldn't be fun if it turns out that you have to take out the engine to check valve-clearance for example

the valve clearances should not be a problem as the engine has inspection covers at the top, but one of the spark plugs is gonna be a problem will have to make myself a tool..
The upper rear frame mount will have to be altered to fit the engine mount,
The lower rear engine mount lines up close to the frame/engine support frame holes so making spacers should nt be a problem,
the fwd mountings are going to be st bars from the frame to the engine but incorporating some sort of vibration damping.
The same will be for all the mounting points to reduce the vibrations from the engine to the frame.
I will take piks as jan has and keep u informed, also you can help me solve any problems that i encounter,
cheers guys

been on hols for last 3 weeks so a bit behind,
just getting some engine mounting plates made up, to see how they fit but still investigating some type of anti vib mountings gonna look at the buell engine mountings as they are meant to be very good (uniplaner rubber mountings) see if i can get hold of any..
Got a set of brembo brake calipers and a radial master cylinder for it will just have to make mounting plates.
will get stuck into it now and keep you posted....
