Here yi go Corky, a set off camo plastics for on-board ship & a set for the dessert. So you don't need to leave the KR at home. I Hope I haven't missed you going, I think it was going to be sometime about now. Good Luck. Alan.

Hiya Waki. Just took some time off,,,,,,,Iv'e still been hanging around. I was / am, getting an opinionated old tw£t. + lost a bit of interest Lately.
Weather / work / mood. Thanks for your interest.......... I SEE youve gone and done it again. =D> You realise your detail borders on insanity , but your a brickie so you have a head start
Looks damn near perfect !.
What next ? ,,,,,,,,,,,Why not build a cheapish one for the road, Dont go into such detail with it, just nice..............Alan.

Without saying it....Alan i must agree..
totally undertand where your coming from..
Just for the record its garye345 thats the brickie
"i think"...
Not me...
i run my own business.... just a small one..
so i work hard and get a few quid to invest
in my bikes..not pots full...just enough..
otherwise... i wouldnt be here...so to speak..
Monte Carlo seems a nice Place..
if i won that lottery...
let me know when you have done..
its all worth it...
I have my Lc at the staffs show this yr again
i love those concours bikes at the show..
and admire the pain and hard work that goes into
polishing a Nut....Bolt...whatever..
and think how the hell do you get it like that
...its a trick...you have to do it all like it..
if you miss a bit it stands out like a sore thumb..
plus iam mad....and just love um looking new...
its because when i was a lad...i had two tenths
of f..all... thats why...
i had bikes not new ones couldnt afford it..
so i hate making do... i wouldnt bother
if had to do that....
plus i like them looking how they were supposed to...
Yes i like changing things...But the designers
spent years perfecting colours and matches
and you have to admire that....
thats why some things fit and look right and some
things look like a pig in poke..
to quote my dear mum..
alan..the bike your designing is special to you..
your the one building it,,,,
and besides...everyone's jealous cause??
we aint got one...
you go for it....
please...dont rush the paint....
looking forward..to the great unveiling..

Good to see your back Alan.
You have been truely missed.
I think we've all been hanging out to see how this one progresses. It must be close to paint by now. [-o<
And yes, Waki certainly has been a busy little boy.
Waki, I get where youre comeing from, and don't blame you at all for wanting to have bikes of that standard. Mind you, even if I won lotto, I doubt I could create something of that standard.

Base coat then had a local firm fit £140 worth of genuine replica transfers.
that I could have fitted better with my feet. So reordered ( from Italy ). another £140 No stock ! waiting weeks & weeks, still waiting. Need the transfers on then lacquer the lot. I wonder who will spot the glaring mistake with some ot these It was my son who spotted them. I could have cut my throat, & His.
Had a local firm re core a radiator. £160.. I think the welder had served his time welding skips So I'm doing one myself. using a 22mm core in place of the 16mm std one & removed all the unnecessary brackets ( Not for the faint hearted )
The exhausts have gone well ( didn't get a local firm to do them did it myself) removed the 3 oem brackets & replaced with one Have taken 40mm of the pipes & 40mm of the cans. tail pipes raised about 50mm I think
Rear brake pipe works well in & out the swing arm with grommets.

For Heavens sake...
Alan....let me be BLUNT
it's Georgeous"
and even it had an
OBVious mistake...
who apart from the odd
one will notice...
So.... is it based on 08..
or the 07 ...
Dont forget the New 09 is brand new
all thinking all Dancing next year...
so dont be hasty....
I prefer this last scheme....somehow
it captures the lines and style of the time..
and the wheel sizing,, is perfect...
for country lane blast
and high street wheeeliiiieeessss...weeeeee

Finally got round to the dash. I didn't want to spend silly money but could'nt resist the "Mychron 3" so I went without chocolate biscuits for 24hrs to be able to afford it
The LED's / resistors / & a choice of two LED holders, you can see I went for the plainer of the two. Thanks to Red Devil for the spare clock loom
Ally mounting plate sharing the IGN switch mounting bolts + LED's
The Mychron ECU mounted on 3m dual lock soft mounts. RPM / Speed / Water, temp / Cyl head temp connections.
