I think I would go for black as they are more subtle, although what you really need are a set of 15 year old original ones and I might just be able swap you a set for the nice shiney ones

All we see are bolt on goodies, anyone can get those, have you done any modding to the frame...bodywork or any other part of the bike?
If you have undertaken some serious work, would love to see some pics....that would truely give us something to admire.
