Took me 2 years to get all the parts and re-build it, then it took my brother another year to get the tank repaired, sealed, painted and decalled !!!!

It's his trade, but I should never have said 'no rush' !!

you need the stripes on the cockpit fairing to give it the complete Pro Am look.

i need to stop looking at this its making me feel guilty about mine  still i will sort out the paint and the bits that need doing one day and all that  nice to see someone build a really nice tastefully modded one which is what they want instead of the anorak bridgade. think simon 5 does the pro am bodywork stickers if you were going to bother his kits are bob on and if it isnt right he will sort it he did the stickers for my 31k
i will post a pic of the finished article but on another thread. If you want his email pm me if you dont have it. If you had gone for black i have a set you could have had with the gold pin. I do like that well done and worth the effort its smart 8) 8) 8) 8)

Top bike, love it. Can't beat a nice LC.

Thanks guys.

I wanted it to be standard'ish, without going down the matching numbers route. The serious lc restorers are paying loads for all the stuff that 'normal' people chucked away the moment the bike was run in !!

Don't really want to paint too much on my KR (see previous comment about little brother  ), anyway, there's enough other sh*t to keep me busy on it.
