Just been reading a 3 page article from a 1983 Bike mag (bought for $1 on Ebay) on the KR250 when it was shown for the first time at the Tokyo Show.
While they didn't have many details on the specs at the time, one of the engineers from Kawasaki apparently did admit to the existence of a 350cc version    that would have 'more than 59hp' =P~ =P~ Now that would've been fun!

Can you scan the article in please Scott and email it to me ? Or just let me know the details of the mag so I can find a copy for myself. :D

Although it's possible I already have it. :? It might be in the growing pile of stuff still awaiting scanning...

I need to update my magazine features page.

Just finished scanning it for you.
Will email it off to you tommorrow. May have to send it from my other email since hotmails being a bitch when it comes to uploading attachments.
Makes me curious as to whether they planned to increase the bore, stroke, or both. :?

Tim, you've already got the article on your website. It's mentioned in the Jan 1984 Mechanics item.

It's not the same article that the KR kid mentioned. This is from the November '83 issue of Australian Motorcycle News.
Emailing it to you now.

Cheers, Scott.
