and no more of these .Working on the bike today checking loom,earths,clutch and sidestand switches are bypassed, finally discovered the h.t coil is breaking down under compression hence the random backfiring from the left to the right. Installed another coil and it started first kick.
That bloody coil was brand spanking new, i have even checked it as per the manual and all the values were within specs.
Just goes to show, you can never rule out the possibility of brand new parts being defective.Cheers for all the help, time for another celebration beer i think.
