if you've removed the springs and the flower shaped bit of ali they screw down on..behind it on the shaft in the center is a circlip....

Removal process
unbolt cover - carefully jiggle it off you should be able to save the gasket - I use the clutch release mechanism to help get it off the dowels.
If you don't want to get at the clutch plates then remove them as a whole without undoing the 5 bolts.
Pull centre part out of the clutch which will reveal a circlip. Take this off and the plates will come out as a complete assembly.
remove the large washer - it is splined so align it propely on the shaft. Now you can pull the clutch drum out. Behind this is a washer and another circlip. Washer some time sticks to the clutch drum.
Assemble in reverse order.

cheers guys. Still couldn't get basket off. Had to remove R/H case. This enabled me to get fingers behind the basket to pull it off.
Still didn't ease off very well. Almost looks like the phosphor bronze bush was too tight a fit. Couldn't see any scoring or heat damage to bearing through.
Also the magneto bolt, left or right hand removal?
