impressive yet again gary. the forks look trick next to the basic, horrid std forks. the adjusters at the top make all the diffrence. at least you can fine tune things a bit more. what are they? zxr400? i need to still sort a front end out, even if it means making a std one useable just to get round cadwell then over winter will get a sorted front end for it. will start a thread aimed at tips on sorting the front on std forks. very nice work gary, what wheels you using?

standard wheels...

now that i have had had..made another seat cowl
the std wheels and front guard
will be off to paint to dream machine

you see when i started i had a complete
standard fairing done...KR1s but...when the
KRR started taking shape ..i decided against
the std fairing and thats why i used the other..
which is where iam at the moment
..
its annoying....restoring...
So..this one will look basic..
until you look closely..
the usd is a zxr400 with new discs
new frt spindle
it makes the bike look new.. fresh?

Iam having a maxton rear..shock
and gpa10 dunlop tyres..

i cannot make my mind up about the exhaust
i had this with the first bike..
std ..or a set of microns the double one side..
i have a pair of short end cans
courtesy of sean..and some
swarbrick allly type...
the std can micron is too long makes the bike
look cock eyed...
its about balance...we will see..

iam sorry to say that the engine wont be..

Graham File
is doing the Biz on it..
Full road tune to the max
then banshee carbs 35mm blaster
vforce reeds new crank
oh and shush.. quiet ...
wossner performance pistons

well.... only the best will do..it has to last
another 16 plus years

And ...i have a treat for you

Mgjkr1

so watch this space...

you will love it..

Tarra..

use std pipes gary. just about the best power and look nice enough. i have never liked gp style pipes microns even less so. although they are quite rare and look nicer than the ypvs gp microns.

I know ya right....
just had the std ones powder coated
done a very nice job..

The std ones look the doo..daaa's

Oh well..plenty to do...

the engine isnt back yet..

And iam spending the wee hrs polishing

oh its painful..
but the effort is worth it..
gets tedious..
And if your like me..
it takes me 15mins to get going..
dither dither...what shall i start..

Arh yes this will do..looks the most easy
always ends up the longest..
anyway must go..garage is calling...

" This is London..Calling"

90's superbike perfection. best era for the best bikes. theres something very appealing about racers with lights ie homologation specials. a special time, i call it the RR or SP era. dont think they make such things as sp's or homologation specials as such anymore. guess thats why bikes like these are so special.

Oh....
Well you dont want much..."only joking"

Try eveil bay...
America motors

Top tip in the search

Letting all me secrets out
there not called inlet rubbers

There Called inlet Boot

Kawasaki Kdx200/220 1986 to 89
and kx125 same

Iam having a go at making some more....
i made the ones on the bike
with kx125 rubbers with the
inlet cut off and got some
inlet rubbers from allens
and used rubber compound
to make the adhesive
its a correct rubber kit
you mix by chemical
and then it sets like rubber
well it would really?
anyway its worked...
its costly the kit is 30
and the kx125 which are still
available are 40 each
but atleast its correct??
Dexcon flexane is the rubber
kit as its petrol oil resistant#
the prob on the market is there is no
readily available compound for stciking rubber to
rubber then getting it washed with petrol
the first ones i made lasted in no time
before callapsing..
but the flexane works better
and i rang them and said this is what i wanted
to do...
keep looking on ebay motors america...
as its dirt cheap........
the ones i found were £50 del all in...
but they will do as valuble spares
and if i can find someoone to make them
i would?
