Having seen bikes by the dozen there in the past, I took a ride out to the Dick Turpin pub on the Southend-bound side of the A127 on 1st July. Apparently there's a meet there every Tuesday night through the summer. It was packed, nearly all diesels though!!!

There was a post about it on the RD Forum, and one of the guys that went said he only found 3 strokers. I was there all evening and among the strokers that turned up were 2x RGV250s, a KH400, RG500, NSR250, Mito, RS125 Aprillia, various scooters, and my bright green KR250 that he failed to see!

Among the other bikes were loads of Gixxers, with owners in matching leathers, some serious customs ( they must have spent a fortune, shame they were Harleys), and a few classics. All in all, a good night out.

So if any of you guys fancy a ride out on a Tuesday night, give it a try!

I was there a couple of weeks ago on my kr1s and a mate on his lc
iam either there on my kr1s or ypvs but this week could not make it as i
had the carbs of the kr1s cleaned them put them back on and went fine but next day one float bowl was overflowing so back to the drawing board.

Will be at Battlesbridge if wheather is good on my ypvs, iam only up the road from you.
