i have stripped the kr down so i can get the frame powder coated but the swinging arm pivot bolt just wont come out. dammit!

try jarring it loose a bit, pref while turning with a socket/spanner in the desired direction. soak the area in a good penetrating fluid and leave overnight. failing that take to a garage and use a windy gun as this will jarr it free. while its out, if it gets damaged an rgv one is a straight swap and as its hollow wil save a gram or two and looks tricker. good luck

heat up the bolt thats the best way imho

Had the same problem on my old KDX200 endro bike. Don't expect it to be in good enough condition to use again. mine had siezed into the frame cause the bearings had collasped and they had worn into the shaft, so I had to replace the lot.

worth the effort as once fixed it transformed the bike.
