Just thought I'd add a pic of this rare colour for interest sake. Its an 89' model, just finnished restoring it over the past year. It's in its original colour apart from the checkered flag decals on the tank and Bridgestone decals on the fairing. (These were strategically placed to hide a couple of blemishes, the rest of the paint was in pretty good nick!). The forks, wheel rims, swing arm, and end cans are pollished as they were a little corroded when bought her. The brake callipers were also corroded so they were cleaned up o/hauled and painted gold (original colour gunmetal). Otherwise its pretty stock.

I had posted a few pics in 'bodywork' under the 'cant find zeus blue topic'. I think this one was Aus delivered, it only has an australian compliance plate. I had a cbr 250 at one stage that was a second hand jap import which had the Grey import type compliance plate on the frame. But saying that I do not know its full history, and I have never seen another like it over here . The paint is its original colour and some of the info decals on the bike were in Japanese, so I cant be sure. I once owned a 92 model (white/green), and I can't recall those same decals.
This is it at stanwell tops near Sydney ImageImage[/img]Image[/img]

Another marvelous KR comes out of the woodwork. 8)
And another Aussie member to boot.
I'm just amazed that it's all in factory paint, and still in such good nick .
The detail work youve done is spot on as well.

I think this may be a new favourite color scheme for a few people, including myself.

nice 8) - and rare

how come we get all this crap about small plates when other countries
use smaller ones as standard? surely camera technology isn't that bad

Very nice. o thought only the 1R's were blue.
I've been searching NZ for 4 months now for another KR with no joy.
They must be out there but i'm flip if i can find one.

Nope the 1R were all green and black, only the C1 was in the blue black colour and we never got the C1 in the UK as they were busy flogging us the remaining stock of B2 bikes
