I don't have the bits here to measure but i'm having some headlamp brackets made and need to tell him the diameter of the stanchions

aye up,i just measured mine 40.5mm with a mitutoyu dial verniur,hope this helps cheers fred

I think you either need new glasses or new verniers.

KR1 and 1S forks are 41mm diameter

your dead right lads,there was a bit of grit in the rack on me verniers,glad there not the ones i use at work

What diameter are the KR1S forks !!!
