Hi to all just getting back together my 1s and running, i was looking at the manual on the site, the air screws in the carbs, can any one tell me how many turns they need to be.

One & a halve tuns out. Alan....... Just set mine up. The bike was a 6 + prod starta That turned into a ( its a not going to starta) So off with the carbs, cleaned refitted, But this time I made sure that the left carb idle adjuster was adjusted first to just a smidge below std tick over, then I adjusted the right carb so it was just beginning to increase the revs. I then spent forever synchronizing the throttle cables so both opened Exactly together. What a difference longest it's been left since I did this is only 4 days "unheated garage." full choke, no throttle, Halve a prod,fires up & idles on the choke + it's so much more Keen to rev from idle. The manual does'nt mention the left carb idle adjuster that I can see ? ..... Its something I've thought about always the left cyl fails. What if the left carb is completely closed on the overrun
& Idling on the right carb only. ???? This might all be bullshit but I'm happy in my own Way !. If Anyone knows any of this to be wrong please SAY...... Usual disclaimer ( Is it broken, I wasn't here, I knew nothing about it. I ham from Bathaloner ) Alan.

Thanks for the info alan, will have a look and adjust them. I want to get it right as just spend a load on a rebuild.
