Mito and RGV Wheels
Hi all,
Just a quickie I seem to recall that on the old forum there were some pictures of a KR-1 with Mito wheels, is this an easy swap? also there was a diagram of the spacers needed to fit an RGV wheel does anyone still have that?
Cheers

I'm getting some spacers made up at the moment by jim on the rgv site.
he's making them so i can kep the stock rgv bearings (I/D20mm compared to 17mm on kr) and so they will be a light push fit into the bearings so they should stay in when the wheel is removed and not fall out as is a problem with the rgv rears and will be anodising them black for me..
if you want i can contact him to see if he can do another set while he's at mine, got to be cheaper co theres less time involved in setting up the machine.

Id like to run matching wheels, its not important for the track bike but the road going machine im gona put together this year id like it to look nice too...
I can always use a KR1 front but the spokes are a diffrent layout, Matching RGv front would be cool..
So if anybody has done it or know whats needed Id love to know!
Cheers

You can get a 3 spoke ZXR400 wheel to fit. I'vbe done it and it'll match the rear RGV one a beaut. You do need to machine the disc face and the caliper to get the discs to line up though. In the end its a lot easier to just fit a zxr400 front end.
