Do any other handlebars fit the KR1S as they have a bolt hole to attach them to the top yoke ?

the bolt is supposed to keep them in the right position, but you can just as easily use them without the bolt if you like a different position better.
or use any other clip-on clampt on the inner leg.

Cheers

I wonder if the holes could be drilled and risers fitted ?

Don't think there is enough metal there though, would need welding ?

Don't think an M8 bolt would be good enough to hold your handlebars on

To try and fit handlebar risers to the top yoke to take some renthal bars etc

I think that if you are talking clip ons there would not be enough height on standard KR forks as there is only 10mm protruding out of the top yokes and you would need at least 20+mm for clip ons. I think the handling would be too compromised if you slid the forks much more than 10mm through the yokes so not an option. Ground clearance is an issue already so dropping the front ride height is a no no. You could look at fitting a different set of forks that are longer? If you mean fitting renthal motocross style handle bars then not sure I would feel the standard top yoke is strong enough to drill and fit risers to. You could look at getting a bespoke top yoke done in a stronger, thicker plate of alli.

drill the holes in a hollow part (in the bottom), make tread in them, put bolt's in them and than cast the hollow part full with tin solder. that way yoy also cast the tread. install everything and use a very big washer between the solder and nut .

done that a couple of times, tested it in a couple of crashes and it works perfectly. bar's have bended in the crashes but the risers didn't move.
