RGV Rear Wheel Fitment - THANKYOU!

Hi,

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone that helped me with fitting the RGV wheel, and to the guy who got the drawings made up of the spacer's that I needed, if he is still around!

Spacers where spot on the money, wheel is fitted and awaiting the first set of slicks for my KR1-S EVER!

If anyone is thinking of doing this same mod, it really couldn't be any easier, just get those spacers made up and buy new bearings with a 17mm ID instead of spacing the axle out to the 20mm bearings, as it is a common size bearing and cost next to nothing.

This wheel actually fits better and goes on and off easier than the stock one!

Thanks again!

Chris.

One thing I forgot to say is that the wider rear wheel can catch on the rear brake stay bar. I had a kink put into the bar to give it some clearance at the edge of the tyre.

Nothing as yet, I am waiting on a new set of slicks to go on now and see what it comes out as...

Any idea's of what I can do, besides tightening the spring?

Either fit an R6 shock or get some 6mm shorter tie bars made (or was it 6mm longer :?: )

A mate of mine got a mate of his to make them up for me, he happened to have a perfect bit of SS spare at his Engineering Workshop....

So, $80 Australian, mates rates!
