Want to decoke your cruddy end cans? Yep your right ,the baffle tube is not removable so this is what you do--remove the end cans-mix up a good strong solution of caustic soda and warm water--then using rubber bungs block up the tail pipe end(now kiddies don`t forget to wear eye protection and heavy rubber gloves in case of splashes)clamp the cans in a vertical attitude(tailpipe down) in a suitable vice like apparatus( a b & d workmate is ideal for this)then pour in the solution slowly so that it expels all the air pockets in the packing until can is full.Leave overnight then remove bung and drain into a suitable disposable container--use a hose or pressure washer inside the can to dilute out any remaining caustic then invert and leave overnight to dry out.Refit cans and take it for a right good thrashing to drive out any remaining moisture--Voila job done--lighter cans--and better throttle response-well worth the effort.
Oh and don`t forget to dispose of the drained solution responsibly!!
