non kr engine question

apologies for the fact that its not kr it is two stroke though although it is scooter related
my son has an aerox ( minerelli ) engine 50cc 70 big bore kit
to get the squish anywhere near ( overkill) you tell me i need to use no base gasket is it possible to h***a/yamaha bond the barrel to the cases or is this a recipe for disaster what do you think
