kr250a frame

Hi to all does anyone know the original finish on the frame and swing arm was it bare ali or painted?
I've never seen one bare. Always been painted from my experience.
Always wondered what it would look like with a polished frame, but would be a nightmare to polish in the first place, let alone keeping it clean.
