Barrels

I am after a standard pair of knackered barrels. Doesn't matter if KR-1 or KR-1S. Prefer barrels that are beyond repair as

a) I don't want to pay anything other than postage
b) I want to cut them in half

I've got one that you can have Mark, I can't remember which side  but it's yours if you want it. I'll dig it out later, it is all there but heavily scored.

Mike

Thanks, PM me a paypal account and I will shift some money over to cover postage.

'Tis a secret at the moment but a few things fell into place in the last few weeks hopefully all will be revealed end of March or there abouts :-$

No harm in guessing - should be quite amusing. Though I am keeping quiet [-(

We will see how the RGV develops - it is a bit of fun on the side to fill the gaps in the KR development. It will be interesting to see what I can get out of the RGV. Some nice things on the motor but overall I prefer the KR - much easier to work on. Split Andy B's motor the other day can't have taken more than 20minutes.

Ok, I finally got round to digging the barrel out and sending it to Mark. Just to let you know it was a right hand one (as you are sitting on the bike) so I guess Mark is still looking for a left hand side one.
I'm also intrigued as to what he is going to do with it!

i thought that for about 10 seconds till i realised that they ran two rods on the oval piston (too much work i think)
my guess is that its about researching into port floor and ceiling angles for maximum scavenging effect [-o< ( although mark probably has already done this years ago ) cant think of much else at the moment.
