Don't know what a KR1/S tap looks like. Hard to tell but that repair kit looks like the wrong size/shape for a KR tap ?

I'll go out and try swapping some bits in the shed later and see.

Just swapped the guts of a KR1 tap into the body of a KR250 tap, and it all fits sweetly, so go for it.

The sad thing is I've found myself bidding on another 2 Tandems.
I've already got....... (I can't actually remember how many) KR's and a ZXR750 in the shed in bits waiting to get it's frame blasted clean from god know how many coats of really crappy paint.
I don't "think" I have a problem........... I "KNOW" I have a problem.

yeah i saw those tandems on fleabay. Only thing stopping me is I have no usable shed at the moment.
Still, nearly finished the front end. .... (by that I mean only brakes, instruments, headlight etc. to go)

Ahh here it is finally I found it. The two rubber seals in the fuel tap can still be bought new from Kawasaki Australia, and possibly worldwide. The part numbers are:
51039-003 (oval tank to tap seal)
92055-1085 (round inner tap seal)
They are used in other Kawasakis up to and including 1991 (Ninja 600R among others).
