That certainly is a healthy number of KR's there and a painful looking couple of Tricia's too.

it didn't hurt, I was already pretty close to the ground when I parted company. Did make me think that the front end wasn't giving me enough feedback though.
ZX636 forks feel more compliant now.
There were more KR's there than any other bike that day, although PB took some pictures, they never appeared in the magazine.
At least some of us rode them in the way they were intended to - unlike some of the RC30 and RC45 riders!

What front end did you have on it at the time of that off?

i had a ZXR400L front end - I had it set up at Brands by a suspension specialist, the preload was on minimum but still too hard and there wasn't much left on the damping either.
I switched to the 636 forks (re-worked by Mick Gardner) - felt much smoother over bumps

KR1 Man calling to say the best I could manage would be five and that would be after both some considerable arm twisting and completing the KR2 Project. Best regards, KR1 Man.

Blimey, you should take a vacation to England and come to a DP race meeting. You'll be certain to see a good handful of us still racing the little beasties
