£65 - eek !

So potentially, he'll make 99p minus Ebay charges, and will have to package up and post a big heavy box. I'll pay £65.99 and get some parts I don't really need if I'm honest.

Ebay is great, but sometimes a bargain doesn't make sense...

I couldn't bear the idea of those KR parts ending up in a Greek skip. So I put a bid in.

And won 'em for my MaxBid price - 99p !

Paid the 99p plus the £65 P&P  and they arrived yesterday. Pair of wheels, rear shock, all 3 discs and calipers. Plus a front brake lever and master cylinder which is off something else - this initially pissed me off until I realised it's exactly what I want for my KR special. :D

All parts in good condition with no corrosion - nice weather in Greece innit ? :) Packaging was terrible though - he'd just taped everything together and put a single layer of bubblewrap round the lot. I took the package off Postie and the discs fell out. :x

Why is no-one ever selling an engine or barrels......? lol

Think I might have to chase up an engine I saw at a wreckers years ago... You never know, it may still be there, seeing how few people know what they are.
The one thing that annoys me about owning a KR250 (other than a complete lack of parts :( ) is that 99% of people you talk to automaticaly think you mean a KR1 and try to correct you (as if I dont know what bike I have  ).

But hey, my bike is almost ready now (feels like I've been sayin that for ages) and the weather is great down here atm, so I'm happy and itching to take is for a run as soon as it's reg'd!!!!!!!!!! \:D/
Damn I'm gunna go through some fuel that weekend.

Someone give it a good home ! I'd like to, but space is a bit tight at the moment. :( I might be able to provide a top-fairing and subframe for the new owner but no tank unfortunately.

Corky, let me know if you want further help selling it via my site etc. :D

Hey corky,

I'm assuming your in the UK somewhere, so I can rule myself out as a buyer now (I'm in Australia).
But as a matter of curiousity, how much are you after for it?

Hi Corky,
have you got some pics of the bike? I might have someone over here in Germany who's interested (and would collect).

Thanks,
Charles
