Hi All,
Started work on the KR1S this afternoon, what i first thought was just going to be a swap the barrels and pistons over has now progressed into a new conrod required on the right hand cylinder due to it being snapped.....

Am wondering what my options are???

The KR is the easiest engine I have ever worked on.
I can if pushed get an engine out of the frame strip, replace crank and rebuild, put back in the frame in 2 hours.

Minimum required in the way of tools. Only special tool is an alternator puller.

If you haven't done it before allow a day - just remember no brute force is required if you are having to force something then you are doing it wrong.

Would you say (if you know) it's easier than an LC/YPVS engine, done loads of these and would be a nice suprise if a later engine was easier to work on?
