any engine rebuild tips please?

hi all,
i will be putting my engine back together tomorrow after picking up a crank for it today
has anyone got any tips for the rebuild process???

I did a total strip and rebuild last year of everything. take your time, familiarise yourself with the manual, check the seals etc are the right way round, ensure that everything is totally oil free. Ensure that all the washers are in the right order on the clutch and gearbox. I found that the Fiches, (I think that can be found on this site somewere, if not go to CMSNL) show an exploded view of all the parts. Getting the gearbox in was a little tricky when the mating surfaces are all covered in 3bond (a bit like playing that kids game operation - or removing the detonator from a thermonuclear bomb)
