Project fuel tank

Tank was so rusty/corroded same time not fitting in future look, had to be
sacrified! Whatever usable bits required was taken, the remainder was
discarded.
New tank was made & after passing leak test was coated with a layer of
fiberglass and painted black. It doesn't look nice but it has a plastic cover
which serves the purpose, capacity about 11litres.
Fuel tab was creating problem, vacuum hose was blanked on rear carb & below the tab, middle plastic section including diaphragm was deleted.
I don't remember exactly what I did but I know I had to turn the
indication plate on the tab face to show the correct direction! I did this
almost 3 years back not remembering eact details.
