Is the black paint original ?
Anyone seen this paint on a original unpainted fork leg ? seems to neat for someone to of masked it off & painted it on

Hi Phil,
No not original in my experience, I've got about 30 set of KR1 and KR1s forks and none have black paint like that. I have seen that before locally on a Bandit or similar and when I spoke to the chap he had sprayed the calipers whilst attached to the fork leg because he hadn't got the enthusiasm to strip and paint but the calipers were poor so he did it that way.
Were the calipers good nick/ black as well?
It's the only thing I can think of.
