Actually i take that back, nikkons aren't as smooth as that, they look to be hydroformed, maybe gibsons instead

Arrgghh, so it was you who outbid me
I wasn't sure either, I realised they were not standard so took a £50 punt on them. Trouble is you took a £60 punt

the plot thickens, as i have the engine from the same seller that goes with these silencers, the engine came with the pipes that slot onto these pipes and are secured with springs for quick release???? if you want to sell them i would be interested in them, the engine was a chance i took... and it runs spot on

I'd like to keep the pipes, but don't have the flanges, but if you do, I would like to buy them.
I can confirm that they are not Nickon, as I already have a set of them.
The thin tail section is quite long. I do remember seeing many moons ago a set of Chris Noble designed spannies made by gibson, they were in a magazine article that featured Max Vincent and the Rhys Boyd Wheel Power (black and pink) KR1S - anyone have that article? - probably PB

I'll have to go out to the shed and check out the pair of gibsons I have hiden in there during daylight hours, but from memory I don't think those are the same. Could be wrong of course since I've been having shots of AGWA this evening.

Its a small world. They used to belong to me. Sold them atleast 3-4 years ago so they would have been advertised in the for sale section on here. I just can't remember the manufacturer but I chopped out the middle round section on both Spannies and fitted a new (slightly longer for more top end IIRC) section as both of them had a big dent due to racing incidents. The middle supports bolt holes were also added (at the same time I think) so I could use the 1S lower exhaust hanger and do away with the silencer supports.

Looks like it's 100 scooble points to the-elf. =D>
Just makes me wonder what those points are redemable for.
PS. Still a bit wasted here.

Hi Kev,
I'm pretty sure they are not the same as my other Nikkon's which are not hydraulicly formed.
I think they may either be the early Gibsons (Chris Noble designed) , or Huxley....or other?

Yep they were the KR1 spannies and not KR1S that's why bI modded them to use the lower KR1S hanger.
