My KR1S Project
This is my bike as i bought it in march 11, and i would like to thank martin for his help with the spares supplied
Note the missing nipple from the caliper, sheared off by some numpty
ZXR forks and yokes fitted
Aprilla RS125 rear wheel and rassk rearsets, cans will not be staying, saving for new lomas pipes and cans
New paintwork by dream machine, and waiting for new front mudguard
New dunlop qualifiers, wheels to be powder coated in the winter as i'm dying to ride it

I'm sure the quality is top notch, probably considerably better than kawasaki painted it new.daz680 wrote:Bikemike wrote:Ouchdaz680 wrote: £1080
Not that bad considering their the best and it's all paint not transfers
It's just I'm still getting my head around how much these little bikes are now worth, 5 years ago you wouldn't dream of spending that on a respray, it would have been more than the bike was worth.
Nowadays they seem to be making top money all of a sudden.
Nice bike,
Mike.
Need Break down cover? P.m. me.

might be it's a rear one, but then you've mounted it upside down, and so it probably is the same as an original KR1 front caliper.daz680 wrote:No it's a rear, can't remember what its off thoughmaccas wrote:Is that a kr1 front caliper that you have used on the rear?
not that it's a problem, as long as you take it off and hold it "right way up" for bleeding
My ultimate goal is to die young as late as possible !

I can just about cope with thatdaz680 wrote:£1080pablo wrote:Dream machine That must have been expensive how much was that if it's not too cheeky a question.
Nice tho
I have seen some of thier work mainly on unfaired 70s stuff and it is very very good. If you were picky you'd say too good way better than the Japanese put on 30 yrs ago.
Some painters I've spoken to won't even touch that pearlesant white.
"Turned out nice again"

I dont really like it but it won't reach on the conventional route, its on my list of things to do, but it does not rub on anything so it's not down as urgent, rear caliper could be a KR1 front but it was the right price and fits okJanBros wrote:looked at that picture from the rear caliper again, and see you've run the brake-line on the inside off the swing arm
I wouldn't do that , but that's just me
