USD front end volume 4 part 6, the holy grail
After many false starts and bits bought, looks like I'm finally there.
Got all the bits in place now, just need to pull the wheel out to be powdercoated and then bolt it all up, hopefully next week, this is how it looks at the minute.

Current spec is
ZXR250A yokes
ZXR250A front wheel (haven't checked but may be different to a 1s)
ZXR400H forks
One off spindle made to fit
ZXR250 wheel spacers
KR1S discs
CBR929 Calipers (not 100% yet might end up with 1S ones)
Original ignition barrell mounted in altered top yoke
ZXR250 Clip ons
ZXR250 Mudguard sprayed kwak green by the forum paint master
Std KR throttle and switchgear, only thing left to sort is a couple of sleeves if I use the 929 calipers, as they use m8 bolts as opposed to m10 on the ZXR400 fork bottoms.

Dunno Gary, do you mean the shape? I only rested it in there, I'm not 100% certain, I've got a zx6r one to play with and might try a zxr400 one. What does everyone else think?
PS I promise to clean my engine soon, it won't be as clean as Cliffs and Cols, but it looks mingin at the minute.

I have to agree, that mudguard looks wrong.
The rest of the bike, on the other hand, looks superb.

Are you spraying the wheel or powdercoating it??? Just i,ve been reading a few bits about the excessive heat can cause damage to cast wheels

Powdercoating, I've never had a problem, not saying it can't occur but prefer the durability of the finish. I suppose it's like anything else yoyu pay yer money.....

The bike is looking good Mark.
Didn't know if you wanted this rear peg mount, as you can see the brackets have been removed, it's yours if you want it, but it will need a clean. Just an idea

Cliff, yeah that hanger would be much appreciated, I was thinking of hacking away at these, but couldn't bring myself to do it after having got them coated. Should have done it first :?
Lee, no you can't have it, you've had more than your fair share of KRs  Got my springs of ebay ages ago, even came with one of them spring puller/tensioner things. Billet calipers, yeah I've seen 'em, got one on my hybrid bloody good but bloody pricey, maybe next year.
Ok mudguard on hold until I get it all together then I may add a poll
