Lunched Top End

So it seems that I've lunched the top end of my motor.
Just when I almot had the painting complete I was started the bike as I have regularly and took it for a ride around the yard at work.
I pulled into the workshop and the motor was idleing ...............
Then it crunched and stalled.
I've removed the motor and top end to find the right piston has had what appears to be a ring snag on the exhaust port stuffing the piston and chewing up the barrell.

There is a lot of talk about pistons in this section of the forum, but to really dumb it down for me.
1. Where is the best easiest place to get pistons and rings ?
2. Is this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/KAWASAKI-KR1 ... 0581342327 worth buying ?

Thanks for your help

That's only half the problem. Do you have somewhere to get your barrels repaired and replated?

I know that there are places in England and New Zealand
There is a place in Australia (electrosil) but I have been told by several people not to use them
