been lurking on here a while thought it was time i done a post. this is my g plate b2 owned since 99

bought as not running right,well down on power,and worn front discs.cosmetics pretty good nick (scored barrel and shagged crank seals) after 12 years finnaly got time to sort. had barrel replated,new crank seals n centre pin etc. just rebuilt engine well chuffed,
ps;great site learnt s*$t loads has been & will be bloody pricless!

Are you going to restore the paint job, or keep it in the ZXR scheme?

hello luders, i would luv origanal green/white. but keeping the coulors there well tidy. a good m8 brought it like that in 95 of the first owner who said it was a john reynolds rep he won in performance bikes ??rock oil comp ?? . good paint job it looks better look better in life.

ps; engine mounts good cheers, when i took out engine there was already a spacer on mount, sure it had never been out before. do u know if they had a spacer as standard?

Sure they did not have a spacer,but some put one in to take up the gap.

Yes it is the colors of the John Reynolds KR-1S, but he ended up coming second in the championship.
He only narrowly missed out mind and had the flywheel not been machined down too much and disintegrated at Snetterton, he probably would have won.
Personally, I love the colour scheme.

Agreed, he could probably pick up a green one, or have it re-clothed.

cheers glad you like. i got a 1s pillion a while back to recover,not had a lota luck finding a matching colour (green) in right sort of material,or a solo cover,cowl. any one know of any suppliers/good upholsterers?

Re changing the seat colour , if you wanted to go back to black or a colour in this companies range - I've used this in the past with excellent results. There is a UK supplier that sells it on ebay:

I remebmber the PB "win a kr comp",ive still got the mag!LOL
It was an actual B2 model that was raced at the TT sponsored by Rock oil,there was a pic of the bike jumping ballaugh bridge,still had the stock B2 pipes.
Not sure it was john reynolds who raced t at the island,was 89.
You won a replica of said bike.
I like that colour scheme,reminds me of my MX days when everything was Team Green.
