I'm interested in Mallory and Donington
Also want to take more than one bike if I can to each track?
KR and an AR for a giggle

The site shows discounts if you book more than one so cost not too bad really if its a great day out !

Last track day for me was in a Lotus and I spun off at 120mph - coming off on the bike certainly won't be on my agenda though as I don't 'bounce' like I used 2

This is aimed at people like me rather than the usual elbow-scraping heroes. Did my first one last year, at Cadwell on the KR250. Planning to take the SDR to Cadwell this time, and the 3MA to Donington.

If you're tempted, you need to commit and make a booking as early as you can. Cadwell was sold out last year, but Teesside was cancelled as there were not enough bookings. In order for the organisers to split the riders/bikes into appropriate groups, they need to know who's coming and what they're planning to ride. Don't leave it until a couple of weeks before.

Here's the video from last time : YouTube
Kawasaki KR250 Tandem Twin (x4) & KS-II 80,
Yamaha RD350LC,
Suzuki GSX-R750RK & RB50 Gag.

I've booked Cadwell and Donnington - seems like a really good opportunity, have done Cadwell 3 times already - still slow but love it.

Only ever watched at Donnington (Biaggi winning the 95' 250 GP) always wanted to ride it - one of those "100 must do things before you die"

I love those lists, I'm up to about 800 things now & resigned to the fact that I may just get to do 28 :(

I would love to do the track days but alas, not this year :( :( :(

Bloody house extension, wish I had never let my missus talk me into it

I've booked Cadwell and Donington, not taking the KR this time though (unless it's the only bike I can get running at the time #-o ).

Hi guys,

I'm doing cadwell on the kr in the novice group (1st trackday), I have a question though......

Does anyone know if a kr with lomas pipes on will be under the 105db noise limit? I've got a feeling it might be over by a fair bit as its pretty loud.

Looking forward to it :D providing it meets the noise limit that is lol

Mine are 98db at 7,000 rpm Dan. They get louder as time goes by, but you'll be well within the limits.

My standard KR was surprisingly loud at 100dB at 7K. Got louder throughout the day, then I discovered the holes in the bottom seam of the top exhaust.

Rob's TDR had aftermarket pipes and sounded great but only tested at 98dB. You should be fine.

I'll be wobbling round in the Novice group too, hopefully on my 3MA but I've got a feeling it'll have to be on the wife's SDR as the TZR is currently sick. Let's hope the weather improves by next week...

Hate to put a dampner on it, but it's not looking good at the moment.

Pack your rain tyres if you have them.

Take it easy and watch out for the left hand section of the goose neck, if you're carrying too much speed in it can catch people out quickly.
