Fast Suzuki
This belongs to a friend of mine and he had it out for a spin yesterday. It looks glorious but you should hear it.
You won't see many of these.

That chaps is a GSXR750R- RK.
Very difficult to get a good one, I've been looking for one for ages.
KR-1R put me onto one in Japan but so far I've not been able to get the deal done. Still trying though.
It was Suzuki's ZXR750RR, VFR750R or FZR750RR, a bike built specifically for WSB racing homolgation and I believe for only one model year.
Not sure but I thought they had flatslide Mikunis on???? This one appears to to have CV's fitted.
I believe the factory code is XR-69.......
Tim aka Strokerboy has one I believe.

Pablo - RR looks really nice. I don't think I have ever seen one in the flesh .
Flute - TLR is unusual in those colours too =D>
Here is my guilty pleasure . Bought it as a non runner a while back (brakes, carbs, etc). Slowly improving it and tidying it up. Clearly the top fairing wants a repaint.
Just got to fit a new "open" cable for the throttle and then it's ready for an MOT

It's a 1989 RR. As Smithy points out it was Suzukis WSB race homologation. Close ratio box, and lots of other engine goodies. It's got an aluminium tank, and a little over 3000mls on the clock Jan. He's been after one for ages, and tells me that there where only 50 brought into the UK.JanBros wrote:all pictures of the RR appear to have the same carb's.
it also should have an aluminium tank, that can easily be checked with a magnet.
this one still looks brand new, how much miles/km does it have ?
He had a mint 92 blade, and sold it to get the Suzuki. Can't say I blame him. Would'nt it be nice to have a full set of 4.
Flute's TL and BM's GSXR look great, and it got me thinking we should keep a thread devoted to the subject
