Just thought I'd show off my new set of wheels.

Its an 2007 ZX10R, very stock other then the paint and some bits off eBay.
I bought it in Brisbane for $7500 AUD and rode back to Melbourne, about 2350km, over 4 days. Awesome ride... Very painful.

very nice, could do with a splash of green though.

...is that a sissy bar on the back of a ZX10?

Hahaha it looks like a sissy bar! It's a rack for a RJays bag.

You could put some roller skate wheels on the rack and it could double up as a wheelie bar! :)

No doubt it needs a wheelie bar the thing is a monster. I've spent most of my 12 years as a rider on 250's and this. This thing is very.... Responsive!?!? To a good twist of the right hand!

2350km ?

Sure puts distance into perspective ... That's like riding from John'O Groats to Lands End and then turning round and going all the way back again !!!
Wow ! And to think I was moaning when I fetched my last stroker that was 90 miles away.

Hats off to you fella - great way to get to know the bike!!

I made a couple of stops that added 500km's, but this is more or less the route I took.

Absolutely awesome trip. I'm trying to convince my mate to freight his bike up and I'd do it again.

Bridlington ?... Snob lol
Yeah we could do the same in the UK,
1. start at Sydney Harbour aka: Skegness pier (what's left of it)
2. look over Ingolmells (key - magnificent landscape shot over the caravans towards the amusements)
3. Through Mablethorpe and up to Cleethorpes - over the mighty Humber suspension Bridge..
4. Stop off at Filey, Bridlington and Flamborough but not to stay as it's far too posh
5. Photo shot of the 'Golf Ball' radar posts on the way passing the Lyke Wake (ok trying to be too clever now and can't spell.. )
6. Finally reaching Scarborough (cue shot of South Bay and Castle, with the famous Pirate Ship in the Harbour)

And after all that...ok I admit to being jealous because I would love to do that trip in OZ really, much as I also like the Uk.

 :D

I did my best! Rode the whole way in my jocks too (or pants as I believe it's said over in the uk).
That's my 2 year old, he's a bike nut..... Until I took him for a ride down the road! Now he likes them from a distance lol

Im after another sports bike when ive flogged my KR1, either a new GSXR1000, R1, or Busa.

I said to my mate Rob yesterday i will trade the KR1 in if i have to, but he said no just store it at his house as he has the best garage a man can dream of in fact he has two double garages until the KR1 sells.
