clutch rebuild

hi all . need help . i am rebuilding an 89 kr1 . it was in boxes and had been crashed . am trying to fit clutch but manual is vague and doesnt look right . it seems to be telling me that after i fit the last plate i have to put the two large steel washers between the hub face and the last plate . one of the washers is domed and the line drawing appears to show this with its larger edge against the plate . i have put it togethr on the bench and it looks wrong . any insights ? ta
