Oil pump adjustment

There are 2 alignment marks on my kr1s oil pump - 1 at throttle closed, 1 at open. My bike aligns when closed but at full throttle it goes past the mark by a couple of mill. Doesn't seem too smokey, I'm a little apprehensive of 'leaning' it out. Any advice/opinions? Cheers.
