Hi Guys,

I thought I would stick some pictures up of my recent project bike that i bought from Ted (Spondonbrain).

The cases had a hole in, the big end had gone one side and the RH barrel had some light damage. I built the engine back up with a good set of cases, my spare crank and sourced a good used barrel.

Apart from the non standard bodywork (which has a few cracks / repairs) and scuffing on the cans she really is a good bike. Stanchions are really good, rear damper has been rebuilt by Maxton, good alpha 10's, no damage / repairs to headstock lugs.

All done now and ready to go .

So exactly how many of Kawasaki's finest do you now own BM?

Hi Martin,

Not done anything for a while.

Crank is being re built as my spare went in this KR1S.

Still need the stanchions re chromed. I have had some polishing done.

As soon as there is a worthwhile update I'll follow up on my thread.

I'm the guy who bought this bike off of ebay. I need to ask a question about it though if I may?

Has it been run in since the engine rebuild, or will I need to run it in?
