my question is that i have 3 carbs with 3 differant numbers on them as follows do they relate to anything :?:

v607 eh24
v608 eh24
and v455 ca07

the internals are differant as well

the first two have

138 main jet
40 pilot jet
4 slide
n99 needle

the third has

135 main
38 pilot
3.5 slide
n68a needle

why the differances :?:

finally what are the std jet sizes to give me a starting point

thanks guys

the jets mean nothing, as people fit diff jets,
having said that, the kr1 has 38 pilots 135 mains
the kr1s has 40 pilots and 135 mains.
the kr1 and kr1s c2 had a throttle slide of 3.5
and the kr1s c3 had a 4.0 cutaway on the throttle slide

also the n99 needles are from a c3 kr1s.

so to sum up. i would say you have a pair of kr1s c3 carbs
and one kr1 carb

jets can be changed, so am guessing you need a throttle slide with a 4.0
cutaway

I agree with this, I have a Kr1 & a Kr1s (Kr1s is a project bike) & have the same numbers on my carbs.

My main worry would be the carb internal airways etc. I'm not sure if these would be different for the Kr1 & 1S? I'm sure someone will be along soon to confirm or deny this.

I just wouldn't want my bike to have non matching carbs & if I was bolting them to a triple, I would want either all 3 to be Kr1 or Kr1s.

I could be wrong though Kezsam :-k so I apologize in advance if I am.

Now then, I'm sure I have seen somewhere on the forum a post which has a link to a website that does parts for our carbs, obviously I cannot remember which post it is, sorry.

Haven't been a lot of help really have I
