Welcome to the forum Paul.

Is it a tandem twin you're after?

They were officially sold in Australia, New Zealand, and Japan of course. They were not sold officially in the UK, but some were imported and sold by dealers. They were most likely sold in many other countries as well, but I'm not sure which ones.
If your planning to ship one over, you might do best getting one from Japan. A forum member here in Australia recently got a nice low milage red/black one imported from Japan, even though they were sold over here.
Also, if you havn't already, Check out Tim's ("StrokerBoy") site dedicated to the KR250 here. http://www.kr250.org/KR_home.htm It's got lots of usefull info, and he often gets contacted by people wanting to sell there KR's.
Good luck, and welcome to the forum.

Welcome Paul!

As Scott has already suggested, check out Strokerboy's own site dedicated to all things Tandem Twin.

Good luck in finding a good one.

The Australian spec ones had a different rear mudguard (it was longer), and the indicators were on stalks to comply with the laws there. As far as I know all other models had the shorter rear mudguard and fairing/tail mounted indicators.
