I'm pretty sure it was Wakasaki's.
But he had a hissy fit and flounced off deleting all his photos so I can't be sure.
Has it got 35mm carbs?

*Edit* Actually it looks more like AlanW's. I'm getting confused now. Time for bed I think.

welcome to the forum, great bike with "the engine". I never asked why it was removed from the bike. Must try to remember to ask Mark next time I see him.

Welcome to the forum Mark. It was Alan W's build. It was in Kawasaki Newcastle for a while too.

Yes thanks for all that but i already knew all the above, and like Mark confirmed in a previous message his record engine is in my bike

Mark Quotes
"The bonny engine is in the bike that had the custom seat and fairing made sorry I can't remember who the owner currently is but he does post on RGV forum."

The guy i bought the bike off wasnt the one who did all the work and was called Shaun and he,s on the RGV Forum.
The guy who did the bike was called Alan and it was he who got the engine off Mark.

I am well pleased with the bike and cant wait to ride it properly, the attention to detail is second to none and can only imagine how much was spent on it to get it like this.
I bought it for £3200 and think its worth every penny and when i compare it to my other strokers and what they go for its a bargin. :D

Yes thanks Luders thats what i thought, the bike looks good in the pics but they honestly dont do it justice.
To be honest ive always wanted a KR1 so when i saw this i was made up.
I only had so much to spend so i just made an offer on the ebay ad.It was refused but a couple of weeks after the ad ran out the owner contacted me and said he would take my offer. As you can imagine i was made up.I have other 2 strokes so this bike is well at home. The bike wont be just looked at and will be ridden whenever i can.I already have a well sorted awesome Aprilia RS 250 as my trackbike so it wont be used there infact its too nice to put on a track but im sure i will get great pleasure from riding it on the road.
I am totally new to the KR1 so i will probably be asking loads of questions about these bikes on here so hope you lot will help :)
