Just after abit of advice sealing my headers.
I already have other 2 strokes and just seal them with some heat resistant silicon.
With me being new to these bikes and engines i just wondered if theres any other tips that you lot know of.
My bike has Microns fitted to it and they are leaking quite bad.To be honest ive not took them off yet and just wondered if there are o rings or just gaskets involved and if these can be updated with anything better.
Cheers guys[/u]

I use Lomas pipes Mark and they come with rubber O rings, which don't last long at all and soon after there's oil and shit everywhere.

I use silicon to seal the buggers up to keep the mess down, as do a few of the other racers I know.

don't use ordinary O-rings, they only last 'till about 100°C. You need Viton-O rings.

Used loads of different sealers but this is the best IMO
Even use it to seal head gasket :P

Just put it on and leave it over night to cure
