how to reproduce the ugly green nuts and bolts

Hi, Anybody know how to reproduce the finish on the hardware used on alot of the Japanese bikes? That shiny army green looking finish?
Do you mean the green passivate finish,
A lot of the people on the LC forum (Yamaha lc) have used plating firms to re-plate them but no one seems to to be able to get the correct finish, they often come out more of a black colour,
There is a few on here with Lc's that might know more.
