Did it arrive minus carb, or have you already put that in the ultrasonic cleaner?
How thorough a rebuild is the bike getting?

Nice bike, that will look great when it is finished.
It should be a doddle compaired to a KR.
I still have great memories of my DT125 Enduro Twin Shock MHN628P and my RD400E (White & Red) DUB111T, I wonder where they are now?

Hi,everyone, the Ty was given to me , as a wedding present, from my best man, got married last Sept. Was going to be my next project., after I finished project kr1ss. But wife is expecting my second child in august, and moving to a bigger house, at end of march, so be doing lots of DIY. Want to finish the kr before I move.
The Ty is a 1988 model, is road registered, and road legal with daytime not.

hey we had one of these, it only had 3 gears and i think it was just for a speed machine we had it up to 80 top revs in 2nd, when you went into 3rd it would only carry on pulling on a dead flat surface, it was really mad.
Martin when you take apart could you take a close up of the fly wheel stll fitted please? as we had a strange set up and could not get the nut undone cheers.
