are these what I believe/hope they are :?: :D

they have attachements for springs to fit them to the cylinders, not very good visible on the picture, but they are located where the paper hangs on the pipe.

.
.
no I think the may be TZR kit pipes, or gibsons (hydroformed)...
the connection at the head would be exterior o-rings
the straightness and header angle
and the rear frame tab is different

They look like there made for the KR to me,but they dont look like gibsons from the pic but its hard to tell.
The gibsons i have seen all have visible welds in the belly section.

funny story actualy :D

My ex-dealer (he quited the bike-buisness) bought over 10 years an almost complete KR1 in parts. the bike was at a point stolen, and was later found again, but the owner didn't want the hassle of putting it back together and just sold the parts.

over the years, I had bought the engine and all the parts you can brake while crashing

Some 6 years ago, he had enough of bikes and closed his shop, but still has about 120m² of used parts stored. But he is planning to get rid off them (as a joblot) , so I asked if I could quickly buy some parts I could use (I still have quite a good contact with him). So yesterday I was there, and as we were cruising between all the parts, I noticed these exhausts and thought "hmm, they look special and they look KR" :-k 8) , and apparently it were the pipes that came with that KR1 (it was the only one he ever had for parts).

I never bothered to ask/buy the pipes because somehow I automaticaly presumed they would be standard KR1, if only I knew ](*,)
but the good part of the story is, I now have them for free 8) :D

the build quality is very high, beautiful welds that look like a robot did them. If these are welded by hand, the man that did them surely is a pro. general condition is very good, apart from some rust and 1 dent.

they definitly are KR1, I compared them to KR1S pipes, and the form and the position of the rear bracket matches . They are a lot shorter though, so probably good on higher rev's and less mid-range ... the way a proper 2-stroke is supposed to be

Great find Jan,there dimensions/length are very similar (to the eye) to my B2 spec Gibsons.
Did you get the collets/manifold mounts,or will you have to make some?
even though the welding is good on the gibsons its still obvious its been done by hand.
Cheers
Dave :D
